To manage your AlpacaLMS users, log in to the LMS admin dashboard located at the /admin
path. For example, if you have set your LMS's subdomain to be example.alpacasystem.com
, you can access your admin dashboard at example.alpacasystem.com/admin
.
There are three types of users in AlpacaLMS: Students
, Instructors
, and Staff
. Students
are users who will be taking the online courses on your platform.
Instructors
have similar permissions to Students
; additionally, they can also manage courses, quizzes, and certificates. Staff
are administrators who have full access to the admin dashboard.
On the left-hand side menu, scroll down to the Users tab. Under the Users tab, you can select the user type you want to see. Each page will list the users in your LMS based on whether they are Students
, Instructors
, or Staff
. On each user listing page, there are many filters at your disposal to help you get the list you want.
You can also export your list of users into an Excel sheet. This feature is useful for performing further analytics on your user database. To export, simply click on the Export Excel button located at the top left corner of your user list. An Excel file will be generated and downloaded to your local machine.
